We had just finished eating dinner at an outside restaurant and I glanced up to see a bright V in the sky. I figured it was a hello to me, “Vern” from God, and I went back to watching our daughter so she didn’t fall in with the koi fish in the pond.
Then I looked back up. WTF was that?
Here’s a pic… it was moving toward the sun. I blew it up with my 10 MP camera – which I had at full optical zoom (10x) and braced against some things to shoot it steady. The shutter was at 1/500th a second for most of the shots.
Pretty clear… either a test aircraft, a rocket, or an asteroid. I’m guessing some sort of aircraft with rocket engines.
2023 Update: OK, I googled it. I found this Soviet space launch info:
The 41st cargo spacecraft that Russia has launched to the International Space Station (ISS), Progress M-09M arrived autonomously at the outpost on Saturday. In addition to its usual payload comprising two-and-a-half tons of food, supplies, and spare parts for the station’s crew, the unpiloted vehicle was also packed with tributes to two Soviet space pioneers. Sergey Samburov provided books written by his grandfather, “the father of Russian cosmonautics,” Konstantin Tsiolkovsky. Also aboard the Progress, an amateur radio satellite to be deployed during a spacewalk. ARISSat-1, once activated, will operate under the call sign “Kedr,” the same sign used by first-man-in-space Yuri Gagarin 50 years ago this April.

Here is another UFO account I found on my old website. The weirdest thing about this is I wasn’t SURE I saw this. Over the last couple years (this happened in 2008) I couldn’t figure out – did I really see this? Was it a dream? Then I found the post I did about it the DAY AFTER the sighting! It was real. I have said it before, there is some sort of suppression over people who have seen UFOs. It has happened to me at least two other times. I see something, and I don’t share it with hardly anyone. Maybe nobody.
