Scientists at Robert Bigelow’s company BAASS have come up with a new way to measure the effects of UFO and other paranormal experiences that don’t take recall as the ultimate truth. They say there is distortion in the recording of the event to memory, and that each witness may see, remember and or report something different, sometimes wildly different, for the same sighting.
This happens consistently, and for many decades it served to throw science off the track of the phenomena. If eyewitness reports were to be taken as the highest truth, then when they conflicted, the entire event was under great suspicion. Facts need to add up, not take away from each other. If many people seeing an event are reporting different sights, sounds, and time-scales, then what can really be learned from that? Other than, maybe the actual memories are being distorted before or as they are recorded and/or retrieved.
So, we have been relying on eyewitness reports since the 1940’s, and still, we know very little about the phenomena. We know something is going on. We can’t guess at all why they’re here.
The BAASS organization came to the conclusion that testimony by eyewitnesses is probably not fact-based because their memories have somehow been tainted. Twisted. They fully believe they saw what they saw, but multiple people saying completely different things doesn’t add up. It destroys the record of the entire event.
Could this explain why 95%+ sightings are easily explainable as naturally occurring phenomena? Does this intelligence slightly twist the actual experience in our heads to more closely match something that might be easily explainable by stars, the moon, our aircraft, reflections, etc.?

The investigations by BAASS provided new lines of evidence showing that the UFO phenomenon was a lot more than nuts and bolts machines that interacted with military aircraft. The phenomenon also involved a whole panoply of diverse activity that included bizarre creatures, poltergeist activity, invisible entities, orbs of light, animal and human injuries and much more. The exclusive focus on nuts and bolts machines could be considered myopic and unproductive in solving the larger mystery of UFOs.
One of the major successes of BAASS was in adopting the novel approach of utilizing the human body as a readout system for dissecting interactions with the UFO phenomenon. This novel approach aimed to circumvent the increasing evidence of deception and subterfuge by the UFO phenomenon in that multiple eyewitnesses co-located in the same vicinity frequently reported seeing widely different events. The evidence was multiplying that the UFO phenomenon was capable of manipulating and distorting human perception and therefore eyewitness testimony of UFO activity was becoming increasingly untrustworthy.
The BAASS approach was to view the human body as a readout system for UFO effects by utilizing forensic technology, the tools of immunology, cell biology, genomics and neuroanatomy for in depth study of the effects of UFOs on humans. This approach marked a dramatic shift away from the traditional norms of relying on eyewitness testimony as the central evidentiary arm in UFO investigations. The approach aimed to bypass UFO deception and manipulation of human perception by utilizing molecular forensics to decipher the biological consequences of the phenomenon.
The result of applying this new approach was a revolution in delineating the threat level of UFOs.
There are a number of bombshells in that short article. The last sentence is no exception. THREAT LEVEL. Now they believe there is a serious threat to us by these things.
BAASS needs to come out with more specifics. What specific changes in the body did they notice after paranormal events? Obviously something. Obviously something substantial.
