Richard Dolan Short Bio
Richard Dolan was born in Brooklyn, New York on July 1, 1962.
Richard is a UFO researcher and Rochester, New York native who hosts a weekly radio show on KGRA. Richard is an author, having written many books you can find at Amazon or his printing press – Richard Dolan Press.
Richard is a very well-known researcher, and author, and is sometimes seen as the voice of reason when things get too ridiculous.
Education: Graduate degree at the University of Rochester.
Richard started out trying to resolve the question of whether UFOs were a concern to the US Government. Once satisfied, he delved into the subject and is currently involved in speculation about all sorts of UFO and Alien subjects.
Richard came up with the idea of a breakaway civilization. He believes there is a small group who, on their own, somehow manages the technology and manufacturing of space vehicles.
This group is untouchable, having vast resources and contacts. They are enjoying the benefits of technology back-engineered from crashed alien vehicles, and are not sharing the technology.
He has a publishing company – Richard Dolan Press, which publishes his books and those of other authors.
On August 18th, 2020 Richard published a video where he talks about the state of UFO Disclosure and his idea that probably the government is going to slow it down dramatically or stop it by feigning ignorance. The incredible video is below.
Richard Dolan’s Books
- 2000. UFOs and the National Security State: Chronology of a Cover-up 1941-1973.
- 2009. UFOs and the National Security State: The Cover-Up Exposed, 1973-1991.
- 2010. A.D. After Disclosure: The People’s Guide to Life After Contact.
- 2014. UFOs for the 21st Century Mind: A Fresh Guide to an Ancient Mystery.
Richard was my ‘go to’ guy for his commentary on the state of the situation for years. Eventually, as all researchers do, he started entertaining ideas which were so far out there that I lost interest in him to some degree.
His company published a book about the weirdness of owls. He interviewed the author, and the whole idea just threw me. I moved on to find someone else. Currently, my main resources are Grant Cameron, Eric Davis, Tom Delonge, Luis Elizondo, and Chris Mellon.
Update – In 2019, Grant is further ‘out there’ than anyone else! I’ve resorted to following only Eric Davis, Luis Elizondo, Garry P. Nolan, and Chris Mellon.
On an interview with Grant Cameron in the United Kingdom (here), Richard listed the top insiders he follows and gives the most credence.

Richard’s Social Accounts
- YouTube – some excellent videos. Richard started a new series in 2019 where he covers a topic in-depth, seemingly without notes, he just knows each subject so well.
- Website: Richard Dolan Press.
Richard Dolan provides well reasoned arguments, often including names and sources of material. He knows his material incredibly well. In my view, he is at the cutting edge of the alien topic.
Hi Phil, thanks for your comment. I like Richard, I like a lot of what he says. His performance at the mock congressional briefings with Steven Greer’s project was so outstanding I stood up and clapped and cheered.
I have to say, I don’t consider him on the cutting edge of anything except thought about the alien topic. Where he excels is rational thought about what he hears and what he believes is true. Unfortunately, he is getting much of the same information as the rest of us, which is a slow drip at the moment, and while it’s a damn bit better than we were getting, it’s still information that many other people already know. I wish Richard was on the inside somehow and could give us commentary on what is really going on.
Tom Delonge is close to the cutting edge. Luis Elizondo is in it. Hal Putoff has been exposed to a LOT. Steve Justice probably knows just about anything he wants to know. Chris Mellon probably has contacts that have given him the real overview. Heads of the Air Force TAC, SAC, and even PAC all definitely know. The groups at the Pentagon who are studying the topic all know – potentially dozens of people.
With all Richard knows – and he has excellent recall for dates of events – he’d make a great resource for TTSA, but apparently they’re going it alone.
My 2c anyway.
Cheers!
