Born in St. Louis, Missouri in 1934, Dr. Czysz passed away in 2013.
Dr. Paul Czysz was a lieutenant in the US Air Force. He is a Professor of Aeronautical Engineering at Parks College in St. Louis.
Paul Czysz spent 8 years in the Air Force at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and another 30 years working for McDonnell Douglas in the field of exotic technologies.
While at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Paul was involved in tracking UFOs over Missouri, Ohio and Michigan. These UFOs were seen by many people: military, local police, and civilians, and were clocked at speeds around 20,000 MPH as they performed unusual silent maneuvers.
Dr. Czysz spent more than half his career at McDonnell-Douglas working on classified and compartmentalized projects and testifies to the processes involved in maintaining secrecy on these projects.
He warns against the human tendency to make every new technology into a weapon, pointing out that our weaponization of space does not address the threat of earth terrorists, and the idea of using these weapons against extraterrestrial targets would be suicidal.

Paul was a graduate of St. Louis University High School and Parks College of St. Louis University (Aeronautical Engineering). After graduation, in 1955, he worked for McDonnell Aircraft and served in the Air Force at Wright Patterson Air Force Base from April 1956 to February 1958. He transferred from Military to Civilian career and remained at Wright Patterson until September 1963.
He returned to St. Louis to join McDonnell Aircraft and remain there until his retirement in 1991. Paul specialized in aerodynamics, hypersonic flight and many other aerospace technologies.
In 1986, he was named a McDonnell Douglas Fellow for his work in hypersonic aircraft concepts. Upon his retirement from McDonnell Douglas, he opened his own consulting businesses.
In 1992, Paul joined St. Louis University as the Oliver L. Parks Endowed Chair in Engineering. Paul enjoyed teaching his students and watching them learn and grow. Paul was considered an expert in his field around the world.
He traveled the world speaking, teaching and learning. He shared his trips with family, friends and colleagues. Local, national and international media companies, called upon Paul, to provide his expertise on airplanes. Paul visited many grade schools in the St. Louis area, speaking about space technology.
Throughout his life, Paul was a mentor to many colleagues, students, friends and family. In the 1970s, Paul served the St. Louis Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America by supporting their Pinewood Derby events using an electronic track he helped build.
Paul also enjoyed gardening, cooking for family and friends, traveling with his family, woodworking, fishing and telling stories.
