Dr. Hal Puthoff Short Bio

Born: June 20, 1936.
Position at To the Stars Academy: Vice President of Science & Technology
Dr. Puthoff is also a co-founder of the TTSA. That was the group who initiated the UFO Disclosure process in 2017 with Luis Elizondo’s break from the US Government and subsequent spilling of information about currently running UFO programs.
Since 1985, Dr. Puthoff has served as President and CEO of EarthTech International, Inc. (ETI), and Director of the Institute for Advanced Studies at Austin (IASA). He has published numerous papers on electron-beam devices, lasers and space propulsion and has patents issued in the laser, communications, and energy fields.
Dr. Puthoff’s professional background spans more than five decades of research at General Electric, Sperry, the National Security Agency, Stanford University and SRI International. Dr. Puthoff regularly advises NASA, the Department of Defense and intelligence communities, corporations and foundations on leading-edge technologies and future technology trends.
Dr. Puthoff regularly had contact with Luis Elizondo at the Pentagon where Lue ran the AATIP (Advanced Aerospace Threat Identification Program.)
Education: Ph.D. from Stanford University in Quantum Electronics.
1998 Patent: “Communication method and apparatus with signals comprising scalar and vector potentials without electromagnetic fields”
One really interesting aspect of Dr. Hal Putoff’s life that wasn’t mentioned in his biography at the To the Stars Academy website is that he worked with the US Government’s Remote Viewing program for years. He worked with Russell Targ, Uri Geller, Ingo Swann, Pat Price, and Joseph McMoneagle as well as others as part of a project in the CIA. Dr. Putoff has published many papers about remote viewing and other advanced topics.

Dr. Eric Davis, another scientist in the field of Ufology, says this about his friend and co-worker, Dr. Putoff:
Dr. Hal Puthoff is one of the foremost theorists in breakthrough propulsion & power physics for spaceflight applications, the study of the quantum vacuum and its relationship to general relativity theory & spacetime, applied (experimental) electron plasma physics, and applied (experimental) laser physics. Dr. Puthoff has a very long demonstrated record of professional accomplishment that includes numerous basic and applied physics articles published in the peer review journals, pioneering laser technology patents, electron plasma physics patents, laboratory program development and management, government grants and contracts, etc. He has been a successful small business owner and institute director since 1985 in addition to his 13 years at SRI Int’l where he founded, directed, and managed a variety of unclassified and classified defense research programs. Dr. Puthoff has very few peers of his caliber and is highly sought out for advice and consultation by U.S. government agencies, academia, and the aerospace industry.
In 2019, Dr. Puthoff came out with some groundbreaking revelations. He said it in a way that probably protected him from going to court over it, but his meaning was clear. Here’s the fascinating quote.
“Detailed proof that crashes have happened would be so highly classified piece of data.
“There has been one leaked document. How it got leaked, I’ll never know, which is out there that talks about some crashes that we were able to verify. It was a real document.
“My opinion is there are probably at least materials. Now it wouldn’t necessarily have to be the crash of an entire craft, but it could be a piece blown off, whatever, by a lightning strike or a missile or whatever. So, I’m not surprised to find out that there’s a discussion of material being available. We’ve had an opportunity to look at some unusual material, and so I think that is a big area that will become more significant as time goes on. “
George Knapp the interviewer asks “You had the chance to look at some material?”
“I did. And the interesting thing about it was that I couldn’t figure out a very complex material. When you talk to people that are doing this kind of research you find out that… we know about all the elements on the periodic table, so you are not finding some new element that you didn’t realize is on the periodic table.
“No, it’s more like putting together layers of various kinds of materials that you wouldn’t expect to be able to be layered and the result at the end of the day is that it has certain unusual characteristics that you wouldn’t have predicted in advance. So that is the kind of thing that, to a physicist, is the most interesting.”
