This is really the ONLY question we need answered. Most of us can believe that aliens have arrived in some fashion, whether in tangible craft that can fly circles around our latest jet fighters or interdimensional visitors that show up in shadows, or almost like mirages and then manifest into solid craft or beings.
It’s all so out there, but since the 2017 Disclosure process initiated by To The Stars Academy, revelations have been blowing all of our minds. The government is on the verge of declassifying the whole subject. We are in uncharted territory. It’s getting REALLY GOOD.
Why Are Aliens Here?
Let’s look at some ideas. If you have more, let us know in the comments. We’d love to add them.
It’s fascinating to consider why extraterrestrial beings might be visiting Earth. Here are 12 possible reasons, blending speculation with some grounding in our current understanding of the universe:
1. Scientific Research and Exploration by Aliens
- Why: Much like our own scientists study other planets and life forms, aliens may be driven by curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. Earth, with its unique biodiversity and complex ecosystems, could be a prime research subject. Yesterday I saw that one of our space telescopes discovered two planets that are completely covered with water – TOI-1452 b and TOI-733 b.
- Support: The vastness of the universe suggests countless planets with the potential for life. It’s plausible that advanced civilizations would develop the technology and curiosity to explore these worlds.
- Support Against: Assuming they must have AI (artificial intelligence) by now, they must have the ability to scan any part of our planet or intelligence to learn anything they choose in mere seconds. It doesn’t take decades or thousands of years – and they have been visiting that long. We see it in the historical record.
2. Resource Acquisition
- Why: Their civilization might require resources that are abundant on Earth, such as water, minerals, or specific biological elements. Or, during their travel, they may require stops along the way that have some resources they can stock up on. Possibility #8 below talks about an entire base. This could have this capability as well.
- Support: Resource scarcity is a universal challenge. Even advanced civilizations might face depletion of essential resources and seek them elsewhere.
- Support Against: A hyper-intelligent alien race, which they certainly must be, have certainly already developed ways to create all the resources they need. It’s just chemistry and physics. They can make anything they need.
3. Monitoring and Observation
- Why: They might be observing our technological and social development, perhaps to assess our potential threat level or to track our progress as a species.
- Support: The concept of the “zoo hypothesis” suggests that advanced civilizations might observe less developed ones from a distance, much like we observe animals in a zoo.
- Support Against: This makes some sense, but they are certainly eons ahead of us technically having already mastered AI. They could simply send us back to the stone age if they chose to. Are they considering that to delay our technical advances?
4. Seeking Refuge or Assistance
- Why: Their own planet might be facing existential threats, such as environmental collapse or conflict, leading them to seek a new home or assistance from other civilizations.
- Support: The history of Earth is filled with examples of civilizations facing collapse due to various factors. It’s conceivable that other civilizations might face similar challenges.
- Support Against: They haven’t sought our help as far as we know. Maybe when files are declassified we’ll learn something about this soon.
5. Genetic Exploration and Experimentation
- Why: They might be interested in studying or even manipulating human DNA for research purposes or to potentially enhance their own species.
- Support: The discovery of extremophiles on Earth, organisms that thrive in extreme conditions, suggests that life can exist in diverse forms. Aliens might be interested in exploring the genetic potential of Earth’s life forms.
- Support Against: They are certainly already master manipulators of DNA. They wouldn’t have any reason to physically take our DNA. Yet, that appears to happen during some abductions.
6. Cultural Exchange and Interaction
- Why: Driven by a desire to learn about other cultures and civilizations, they might be seeking contact and exchange of knowledge or technology.
- Support: Human history is filled with examples of cultural exchange and interaction, often leading to advancements and new perspectives.
- Support Against: Not when they are technically superior. Maybe they know nothing of emotions. Maybe they are completely AI driven. AI made. They may not understand emotions and motivations and some of the other hidden aspects of the human mind. I think they could suss it out quickly enough that they wouldn’t need to be here for hundreds and thousands of years.
7. Spiritual or Religious Reasons
- Why: Their motivations might be rooted in spiritual or religious beliefs, perhaps viewing Earth as a sacred place or seeking to fulfill a prophecy.
- Support: Spirituality and religion play a significant role in human societies. It’s conceivable that other civilizations might have similar belief systems that influence their actions.
- Support Against: It’s possible they could be looking at our beliefs and trying to find truth in them. I guess. They could be studying us about this. Beliefs are hidden in the mind and not easily studied but let’s be honest, they could download our minds by now – couldn’t they?
8. Establishing an Alien Presence or Base
- Why: They might be establishing a hidden presence or base on Earth for strategic or logistical reasons, perhaps as a stepping stone for further exploration or colonization.
- Support: The vast distances between stars might necessitate establishing intermediate bases for long-distance space travel.
- Support Against: This could make sense. They may actually already have underwater bases and craft – supercraft – that are well hidden and serve a purpose for them already.
9. Time Travel or Dimensional Exploration
- Why: They might be travelers from the future or from other dimensions, visiting Earth as part of their exploration or research.
- Support: Theories of time travel and multiple dimensions exist within our own scientific understanding, suggesting possibilities beyond our current experience.
- Support Against: I could never grasp this idea, but theoretically it’s possible if you listen to the physicists.
10. Accidental Arrival or Lost Explorers
- Why: They might have arrived on Earth accidentally, perhaps due to a navigational error or unforeseen circumstances, and are now stranded or seeking to return home.
- Support: Space travel, even for advanced civilizations, likely carries risks and the potential for unforeseen events.
- Support Against: With AI they could arrange to return to where they came from. It probably makes more sense that they found something they like here on Earth. It may be resources, it may be US. Hope it’s not us.
11. Alien Intervention or Guidance
- Why: They might be intervening in human affairs subtly, perhaps to guide our development, prevent self-destruction, or steer us towards a specific path.
- Support: The concept of “ancient aliens” suggests that extraterrestrial beings might have influenced human history in the past. They do seem to be influencing us in various ways – with some abductees reporting new downloaded knowledge in math, physics, art, or other disciplines. Why would they be giving us these gifts? To further our species?
- Support Against: They are going about it very, VERY slowly if this is the reason aliens are visiting us here.
12. Tourism and Recreation
- Why: Perhaps Earth is considered a unique and desirable destination for alien tourists, offering diverse experiences and natural wonders.
- Support: Tourism is a significant industry on Earth. It’s conceivable that advanced civilizations might have similar leisure activities and interests.
- Support Against: This could make sense with biological beings who evolutionarily evolved. They might have a desire to see other places and tour them. However, it seems as if what we’re getting primarily as visitors here are biological bots of some kind. Unfeeling, unemotional, intelligent, programmable, beings that have no real interests or motivations of their own – they are just following instructions from something hidden behind the scenes.
13. Reset Fairness Among All Species
- Why: Mankind has set itself up above all living inhabitants of earth, and even above each other at times with slavery. Is it moral that man has done so? Are we more important than the other species because we’re more intelligent and more powerful than them? Should flowers, grass, trees, and animals be overlooked when man wants to build a new road, a house, a business, a city? Or, should everything have equal rights? Is it even possible?
- Support: Aliens frequently state that mankind has caused harm to the planet and nature. The balance has been disturbed. We are in control, but in horrible ways for other animals and life forms.
- Support Against: Some aliens seem to kill cattle and other animals for no other reason than taking some specific samples like cheek, eyes, tongue, rectum, and sex organs. WHY waste the rest of the animal? Doesn’t seem so moral either.
There may be (probably are) many alien groups interacting with humans on this planet. They may all have different reasons for being here. None of them may have any good reason for being here.
These are just a few possibilities, and the true reasons for alien visitation might be far more complex and nuanced than we can possibly imagine. It’s a topic that continues to spark curiosity and speculation, and perhaps one day we’ll have definitive answers.
It’s one of my favorite topics to think about – and I do a lot of speculating on this site about WHY the aliens may have arrived here on Earth.
Disclaimer: While aliens certainly seem to be here, and the author has had bizarre experiences that defy logic, it could all be something else entirely. The idea of a total simulation in which someone has programmed reality for us – is even possible. Please don’t get stuck on one explanation without a LOT of proof for it. There are reasons to believe any of the above, but at the moment we don’t have TRUTH yet. Maybe it’s coming shortly?
